About Influj

We built the boring half of influencer marketing.

The creative half already works. India has some of the most inventive creators anywhere, and brands that genuinely want to work with them. What breaks is everything around the work: proving an audience is real, agreeing terms that hold, and getting money to move when it should.

Ask a creator in India about brand deals and you will hear the same two stories. The first is about waiting — work delivered in March, an invoice raised in April, a payment that arrives in July after a dozen polite follow-ups. The second is about the deal that simply evaporated, because the agreement was a WhatsApp thread and the person who made the promise changed jobs.

Ask a brand and you get the mirror image. A media kit claiming reach the campaign never found. A creator who went quiet after the advance. An agency invoice with a line item nobody can explain, and no way to check whether the numbers underneath it were real.

Both sides are describing the same missing thing: a referee, and an escrow account.

Influj is that. Brands and creators find each other, agree terms in the open, and sign an actual agreement. The budget moves into escrow before production starts. Channel numbers come from the platforms’ own APIs rather than a screenshot. When the work is approved, the money is already there — releasing it is a state change, not a favour someone has to remember to do.

We are India-first in a way that is not marketing copy. Section 194-O, GST and TCS, Form 16A, UPI payouts, data hosted in Mumbai, an interface that speaks Hindi as well as English. These are not a localisation layer over something built for another market — they are most of the reason the product exists.

What we hold ourselves to

These are enforced in the code, which is a stronger commitment than a values page.

Both sides see the same screen

If a brand can read a number about a campaign, the creator who made it can read the same number, from the same source, with the same timestamp. Asymmetry is where mistrust starts, so we removed the ability to create it.

A missing number is not a zero

Where a platform does not publish a metric, we show nothing and say why. A zero looks like a result. An absence is the truth, and it is what lets you plan honestly.

The money is there before the work is

Escrow is not a feature we advertise, it is the precondition. A creator should be able to check the budget is funded before buying props, booking a studio or giving up a weekend.

Paperwork is the product, not an afterthought

TDS under 194-O, GST, TCS, Form 16A, signed agreements with an evidence trail. In India these are not optional, and a platform that leaves them to you has moved its problem onto you.
