Refund & cancellation policy

Effective 27 August 2026 · Applies to Credible Arena (OPC) Private Limited

In plain words

Money you add to your wallet but have not committed to a campaign is refundable on request. Once a campaign is signed the money is in escrow, and what happens depends on how much work has been done — nothing delivered means a full refund, partly delivered means a proportionate settlement. Approved work that is already live is not refundable, because the creator cannot un-publish their reputation.

01Unused wallet balance

A brand can request a refund of any wallet balance that is not committed to a live campaign, at any time, with no reason needed. Write to support@influj.com from the registered account email.

Where it goesBack to the original payment method. We cannot send it somewhere else — that is a payment-industry rule, not our preference.
How longInitiated within 5 working days of the request. Your bank or card issuer then takes its own time, typically 5–7 working days.

Refunds return in the currency originally paid; exchange-rate movement between the payment and the refund is not compensated.

02Cancelling before a creator accepts

A brand may withdraw a brief or an offer at any time before the creator accepts it. No money has left the wallet at that point, and nothing is charged.

03Cancelling after signature, before work starts

Once both parties sign, the amount is in escrow and a contract exists. Either party may propose cancellation through the platform.

Both parties agree to cancelThe full escrowed amount returns to the brand's wallet, less any payment-gateway charge already incurred. Our commission is not charged.
The brand cancels and the creator does not agreeIf the creator has not started, the escrow is returned in full. If they have begun production and can evidence it, the dispute process decides a fair kill fee from the escrowed amount.
The creator withdrawsThe full escrowed amount returns to the brand's wallet. Repeated withdrawal after signing affects the creator's standing on the platform.

04Cancelling mid-delivery

Where some deliverables are complete and others are not, settlement is per deliverable, not all-or-nothing:

  • Approved and live deliverables are paid in full.
  • Deliverables where a draft was submitted but not yet approved are settled through the dispute process, which looks at the draft, the brief and the message history.
  • Deliverables not started are refunded to the brand in full.

05What is not refundable

  • Content that was approved by the brand and published by the creator. Once it is live the creator has spent their audience’s attention on it, and that cannot be returned.
  • A campaign that ran and simply did not perform as hoped. We verify that the content was delivered as agreed and that the metrics are genuine; we do not guarantee results.
  • Our commission on a campaign that completed, and payment-gateway charges already incurred on a funding transaction.

06When the creator does not deliver

If a deliverable is not submitted by its deadline, the brand can raise a dispute. Where non-delivery is established, the escrowed amount for that deliverable is returned to the brand’s wallet in full and the creator’s reliability record is updated. If a post is taken down within the retention period agreed in the statement of work, the corresponding payment may be reclaimed through the same process.

07How to ask

Raise it in the campaign itself where there is one — that keeps the evidence attached to the record. Otherwise write to support@influj.com with the campaign reference. We acknowledge within 48 hours and aim to resolve within 7 working days; a dispute that needs evidence from both sides can take longer, and we will tell you if it will.

Unhappy with the outcome? Escalate through the grievance redressal process.

08Taxes on a refund

Where TDS or TCS (for campaigns under Indian tax law) has already been deposited with the government on a payment that is later refunded, we cannot recover it from the tax authority on your behalf. The refund is net of those amounts, and the deducted tax appears on your Form 26AS to claim in your own return. We tell you the exact split when it applies.
